1. A large French terracotta confit pot. It was originally designed as a container for storing duck and duck fat. The bottom half of the pot was left unglazed and buried in the ground or stored in a stone-lined larder. Made between 1750 - 1914. Dimensions: H 32cm (12.5") x W: 30cm (12") 110.
